About

Inside Asian Gaming was founded in 2005 and since then has accumulated significant experience in attending B2B gaming industry trade events all over the world – from exhibitions to thought leadership gatherings to networking events, and more. Not only has IAG played a part in these events as a visitor or in many cases an exhibitor, it has regularly helped organize key components of them, as well as organizing around 100 of its own thought leadership and social events over the years.

The IAG EXPO was born from this experience and with the direct encouragement of key industry participants – operators, suppliers and others.

In November 2021, IAG held an early precursor to the IAG EXPO when it launched the IAG Academy IR Awards. The event, held during the COVID-19 pandemic, comprised a simple ceremony in Macau honoring the industry’s finest. There were no awards in 2022 due to the pandemic reaching its crescendo in Asia but in 2023 the event moved to Manila, Philippines as part of a broader series of events comprising the IAG Academy IR Awards, the inaugural IAG Academy Summit and networking social Manila After Dark, which doubled as a welcome event.

At the end of the 2024 event, IAG announced that the entire festival was to be rebranded as the IAG EXPO and from the following year would include the addition of the IAG Exhibition, with shell scheme booths and raw space exhibition stands, ensuring a full suite of industry offerings in the heart of Asia’s biggest growth market.

In 2025, the IAG EXPO returned to Manila, now established as a true B2B festival of the Asia-Pacific gaming industry, comprising Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit, the IAG Academy IR Awards and the IAG Exhibition — as well as The Regulators Forum, an invitation-only day designed for all Asia-Pacific region gaming regulators and a limited number of representatives from selected suppliers and operators directly involved in regulatory matters, such as compliance, enforcement and monitoring.

In 2026, the IAG EXPO returns to Manila, once again comprising Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit, the IAG Academy IR Awards and The Regulators Forum — as well as a new addition, the CiG iDEA Summit. This new Summit — created at the encouragement of PAGCOR — acknowledges the role the online industry plays in the broader Asia-Pacific and Philippines markets, and examines the changes that are reshaping igaming in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2026, the IAG Exhibition will be paused for one year due to venue commitments for the Philippines Chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) political forum, and delays to ASEAN due to the Iran crisis.

In 2027, the IAG EXPO will return on 13 to 16 September, and will see the return of the IAG Exhibition bigger and stronger than ever on 14 and 15 September 2027. This will create a six-element event, comprised of the CiG iDEA Summit, Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit, the IAG Exhibition, the IAG Academy IR Awards and The Regulators Forum.
Below is the 2025 Event Guide.
The 2026 Event Guide will be available shortly before the IAG EXPO commences on Monday 14 September 2026.
