The call for judges for the 2026 Awards is open. There were precisely 100 judges on the 2025 panel, and there will be the same number in 2026. Things to note about being a judge:
- Judges do not need to attend the Awards (or even be in Manila) on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
- Judging is very easy: all information is sent and all voting is conducted entirely online.
- Judges can commit as little or as much time as they wish to the judging process.
- Judges only need vote in categories they feel comfortable with expressing an opinion on.
- Judges will be automatically recused from categories involving themselves or their employer.
- Judges can recuse themselves from as many categories as they wish (up to and including all categories).
- Special discounted hotel room rates will be available.
- All judges can attend the Gala Dinner in Manila on Tuesday 15 September 2026 completely free of charge! (value US$250)
JUDGING PANEL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Any person who fulfils the following criteria will be eligible to join the judging panel for the IAG Academy IR Awards:
- Judges must have a minimum of 10 years IR industry experience:
- At an integrated resort (IR) or legal land-based gaming operator in a gaming or non-gaming function, or
- At a manufacturer, vendor or supplier selling goods or services to IRs or legal land-based gaming operators in Asia (either directly or further back in the supply chain), with those sales representing a significant part of their or their employer’s business, or
- As an accountant, academic, analyst, banker, consultant, financier, government official, investor, lawyer, politician, regulator, researcher, trainer or other professional with a significant part of their or their employer’s work or business relating to the IR or legal land-based gaming industry, or
- At a non-IR hospitality or other business with functions typically found in integrated resorts such as a hotel, F&B outlet, retail outlet or other front of house service, or HR, IT, facilities or other back of house service, but with a minimum of two years direct IR industry experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience must be in the Asia-Pacific region (from the middle east to the International Date Line inclusive).
- If no longer employed in the industry, and the judge or potential judge has been out of the industry for five years or more, they must self-declare that they take a continuing and active interest in the APAC IR industry.
In the event of any dispute on the eligibility of judges, the decision of the Chairman of the Judging Panel is final.
















Andrew W Scott

Andrew W. Scott is Vice Chairman and CEO of Inside Asian Gaming (IAG) and CEO of its parent, Complete Media Group (CMG), overseeing one of the most influential gaming media and event platforms worldwide, with a strong Asia-Pacific focus. His career spans high-stakes gambling, regulatory advocacy, and media leadership, giving him rare insight into the global gaming ecosystem.
Born in Australia, Andrew began his professional career in the mid-1980s with a Chartered Accounting firm, preparing accounts and tax returns and working in audit and liquidation, while also frequenting casinos. In 1993 he launched a sports betting business in Vanuatu before returning to Australia as a base from which to travel extensively, visiting over 200 casinos across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. A regular guest on leading Australian programs including Four Corners, Sky News, A Current Affair, Today Tonight, and The Midday Show, Andrew has long commentated on gaming issues and helped shape debate on gambling fairness and regulation.
Relocating to Hong Kong in 2005 and Macau in 2009, Andrew shifted to media. He founded O MEDIA and launched World Gaming, covering Asia’s gaming industry. In 2015 O MEDIA acquired IAG, then an English-only monthly magazine.
As CEO, Andrew transformed IAG into a multi-platform leader: expanding its magazine, growing asgam.com, launching the daily IAG Breakfast Briefing, adding Chinese-language coverage, and building a thriving events business. On 1 January 2020 he was also appointed Vice Chairman. On 1 January 2025, IAG merged with US-based CDC Gaming, both becoming subsidiaries of newly formed CMG, of which Andrew became CEO.
His eclectic career has included roles as accountant, nightclub manager, sports betting operator, educator, high-stakes poker player, poker TV commentator, journalist, and publisher. Today he is a journalist and executive with deep expertise in gaming and leisure across Macau, Asia-Pacific and globally.
Andrew was named 2014 Macau Person of the Year. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, a permanent member of the Macau Gaming Management Association, and former Vice Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Macau. He is also a member of the International Federation of Journalists, the Portuguese and English Press Association of Macau, and the Poker Tournament Directors Association. His network spans Macau, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, and beyond.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania (with multiple awards) and a Master of Science (International Integrated Resort Management) with honors and a perfect 4.0 GPA from the University of Macau, where his thesis examined why some Asian integrated resorts outperform others.
Andrew has chaired major international conferences, advised governments on gaming policy, and authored numerous works on regulation, investment and innovation. Having been player, advocate, entrepreneur, and executive, he commands industry credibility across many jurisdictions. Based in Macau, and continuing to travel extensively, he connects East and West with pragmatic insight, analytical rigor, and lived experience in a rapidly evolving sector.
Sérgio de Almeida Correia

Lawyer, private notary, appointed legal expert in international arbitration proceedings (United Kingdom) involving different jurisdictions, adjunct professor at the University of São José, columnist, contributor to radio and television show, independent professional for decades, in Portugal and Macau, he has provided legal support to numerous corporate and administrative entities, particularly in the areas of commercial and company law, contract law, successions law, labor law, gaming law and administrative law, especially in the area of concessions, and constitutional law. Founding partner of ACS Lawyers and Private Notary (Macau SAR-China).
Sandy Amida

I started my career in 1998 when I joined Star Cruises as a croupier; rose through the ranks and was holding the position of Casino Shift Manager when I joined Newport World Reports (former Resorts World Manila); the pioneering Integrated Resorts in the Philippines when it opened in 2009.
In the past 14 years with Newport World Resorts, I performed various tasks and responsibilities with all facets of Casino Operations such as Director for Slots Operations, Head of Slots VIP Marketing, Head of Local VIP Marketing, Head of Table Games and currently in charge of Casino Operations.
Currently in my 25th year in the gaming industry; I am enjoying the thrilling journey and experience and looking forward to the next set of challenges.
Dennis Andreaci

Mr. Andreaci is a forty plus year veteran of the casino industry, having started his career as casino dealer in Atlantic City. He has worked in many jurisdictions around the world, most notably in Macau, Singapore and Philippines.
He has held executive roles in industry-leading companies, including Las Vegas Sands, Galaxy Macau, Solaire, and Hann Resorts, and he currently works as an Independent Consultant.
Mr. Andreaci's career has covered a variety of roles including operations, marketing, compliance, regulatory and project and development.
David Baxley

David Baxley is responsible for entertainment programming and operations at Sands China's properties in Macau and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. He joined the company in 2010. Prior to coming to Asia he was a nightlife/live music venue owner-operator in New York City and corporate lawyer.
Ben Blaschke

Ben began his career as a sports journalist in Sydney in 1999, working for a number of leading news publications before his interest was piqued by the TV poker shows that frequented the airwaves late at night. He soon found himself not only playing the game but writing about it too – taking on the role of Editor for PokerNews Australasia and subsequently visiting Macau for the very first time in 2008.
He was appointed Managing Editor of World Gaming Magazine in February 2013, subsequently overseeing O MEDIA’s editorial catalogue including High Life, Hengqin Record and more. He was appointed Chief Content Officer in 2017.
In 2016, Ben became Managing Editor of Inside Asian Gaming and has spent his years since then delving ever more deeply into the business of gaming. He was instrumental in the launch of the industry-leading daily e-newsletter IAG Breakfast Briefing in April 2017.
Luísa de Bragança

Luisa de Bragança is a qualified lawyer in Portugal and Macau with a Master’s degree in Commercial Law and certifications in Gaming, Banking and Finance, ESG, and Artificial Intelligence.
She currently serves as Senior Assistant General Counsel at Sands China where she oversees diverse aspects of Macaou law, including but not limited to gaming, banking and finance, company law, real estate, intellectual property, tax, labor, tourism and licensing.
As an environmental and sustainability enthusiast, Luisa is actively involved with Sands ECO360 and chairs the company’s ESG Steering Committee, demonstrating her commitment to environmental, social and governance initiatives. Additionally, she is a member of the Sands EmpowHER Resource Group’s Steering Committee, supporting the empowerment of women.
Her academic contributions include nearly a decade as a guest lecturer at the University of Macau’s Master in Business Law program, where she shared her expertise in Company Law.
Harmen Brenninkmeijer

Harmen, a seasoned leader in the gaming industry with over 30 years of experience, is a serial entrepreneur and investor with a proven track record in technology development, manufacturing and distribution. He has significantly impacted the gaming landscape across more than 75 countries, with a particular focus on emerging markets. Harmen is recognized for his innovative contributions to the industry, including pioneering concepts in jackpots, game design and casino monitoring systems.
Currently, Harmen is the executive chairman at NYCE International, a publicly listed company on the Aquis Exchange, which represents over 40 leading gambling companies while actively developing strategic technical ventures. NYCE International goes beyond traditional representation by taking a stake in promising ventures, creating equity value alongside product representations. This unique approach leverages Harmen's deep industry knowledge and network to connect industry-leading companies with operators worldwide, fostering innovation and growth.
Throughout his career, Harmen has been instrumental in the success of over 25 companies in the technology, distribution and operations sectors. He has collaborated with major industry players like IGT, Novomatic, Playboy Casino and many others, solidifying his position as a key influencer in the gaming world. His efforts have led to improved industry practices, including assisting governments in optimizing gaming tax revenues and establishing effective regulatory frameworks.
Further demonstrating his commitment to industry advancement, Harmen founded the Gaming Incubator in 2007, investing in over 20 technology-focused companies. As the former Founding Chairman of the European Gaming Organization, he has shared his expertise by delivering over 100 keynotes at international gaming conferences.
Daryl Bruce

Daryl Bruce is the Director, Product Management EGMs (Asia) for L&W Asia, bringing over 15 years of experience in the gaming industry – covering deep product, marketing and analytical experience, and leading both Table Games and Slot Operations – to the role.
Daryl is now focused on using his passion for innovation, technology and customer experience to deliver a product strategy tailored for casino operators’ needs in each of the unique markets across Asia, which advances the gaming industry and ensures continued relevance in an evolving landscape.
Ciarán P Carruthers

Ciarán Carruthers is a globally respected executive with over 30 years’ experience leading integrated resorts and gaming operations across Asia and Australia. As CEO of Crown Resorts, he drove cultural and governance transformation, restored regulatory trust and led the company’s financial recovery.
Previously COO of Wynn Macau, and senior leader at Sands China and Galaxy Entertainment Group, Carruthers has consistently delivered growth, innovation and operational excellence. In 2024, he was awarded the inaugural Industry Legend Award by Inside Asian Gaming, recognizing his outstanding industry contributions and reputation as a trusted leader in the sector.
Daniel C. Cecilio

Dan Cecilio has over 40 years’ experience in the gaming industry, starting as a table games dealer in June 1982. He assumed various roles in casino operations, employee training, and casino management. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and is currently the Head of the Licensing and Regulatory Group with three departments under his charge – Table Games Department (TGD), Slot Machine Department (SMD), and Gaming Licensing and Development Department (GLDD).
Pedro Michael M. Cendaña IV

Pedro Michael M. Cendaña IV is currently a General Manager of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation with an extensive experience spanning more than thirty eight (38) years in the gaming industry. He has held key positions in various departments that include but not limited to operations, corporate communications, marketing and regulatory compliance monitoring and enforcement. He has also handled the set-up of a number of Casino Filipino sites. He is a graduate of the Asian Institute of Management’s (AIM) Management Development Program (2015) and the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) seminar on law enforcement, criminal activity, background investigation and investigative techniques (2008).
Tony Chan

Tony is Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of HK GEM listed Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Ltd. (HK:8400) having been involved in the gaming industry for eight years and led APE through its IPO in 2017. Tony is currently a committee member of Asia CEO Club, a member based network organisation for senior executives throughout Asia. Tony was past president of the Hong Kong chapter of TIE, a global non-organisation that fosters entrepreneurship and through mentoring and angel investing. Tony started his earlier career in financial services and transitioned into entrepreneurship through various ventures. Previous financial experience with Thomson Reuters, UBS (SBC Securities) and SEG Capital. Previous ventures include AP DealFlow (founder), HealthBuilder Technologies ( founder)and NU HK (investor). Tony remains committed to the entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys helping other young entrepreneurs and start-ups grow through mentoring and angel investing. Tony is passionate about Crypto-currency having invested in bitcoin in 2013. Other than trading, he has also participated in BTC mining, and NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens). Tony is the founder of HK NFT Group, HK’s largest group of NFT collectors.
Greg Chase

Greg Chase is an Thought Leader at Qualtrics XM Institute and a Certified XM Professional. Formerly, he owned Experience Strategy Associates, aiding diverse global organizations with experience management and culture transformation. As Corporate VP of Guest Strategy & Insights at MGM Resorts, he spearheaded CX initiatives for the entire portfolio. Greg is renowned for pioneering global customer experience, culture transformation, and employee experience strategies. Notably, he was named one of Loyalty 360's Top 10 Most Influential Individuals in Customer Experience & Loyalty. Greg has worked with Integrated Resorts across the globe including a recent RFP in Japan. Greg holds a Master's in Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor's in Hotel & Restaurant Management. He's also a Protocol School of Washington-certified Etiquette & Protocol Consultant and a Nevada Hotel & Lodging Foundation Board Trustee.
Nelson Cheung

I am the Systems Sales Manager of IGT responsible for the Asia market. Experienced General Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the gambling & casinos industry. Been participating in different Integrate Resort openings in operation and supplier areas. Strong innovations and sales professional with a Bachelor of Information & Technology in Artificial Intelligence/Information Systems.
Charles M. Choy

Being a native Macau resident who has received education in Macau, Hong Kong and the United States, Charles M. Choy has a degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Chicago.
Charles is the Co-Chairman of Macau Beer Company Limited, and sits on different boards and volunteers with various charities, including

• Executive Director and Deputy Director-General of the Strategy Research Committee of the Macao Chamber of Commerce
• Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Macau

Michael Clifford

Originally from Ireland, Michael moved to Las Vegas in 1992. He worked with MGM Resorts for 23 years, starting as a dealer and culminating with VP roles in both international marketing and Casino Operations at MGM Macau.
In 2016, Michael was appointed Senior Vice President of Casino Operations at Wynn Palace, Macau. Post Covid, Michael returned to Vegas and assisted in Senior roles with the openings of Resorts World Las Vegas and Fontainebleau, Las Vegas. Michael has been in his current role at Caesars Entertainment since June 2024.
Carlo R. Climaco

Carlo Climaco is currently the Vice President for Integrated Resorts of publicly-listed, Belle Corp., a developer of world-class resort destinations in the Philippines, which also has a stake in gaming-related businesses through partnerships or acquisitions. Having a Degree in Law, Carlo started his career in the gaming industry in 2011 when he joined the Legal Department of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
Carlos Eduardo Coelho

Carlos Eduardo Coelho is a partner at MdME (Macau) and a key member of the firm’s gaming sector team, advising leading integrated resort operators, gaming equipment manufacturers, technology providers, sports betting operators, and online and mobile gaming companies on a broad range of commercial, licensing, and regulatory matters.
He also regularly supports investors, lenders, and funds on cross‑border investments in gaming assets, drawing on his experience in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets to guide clients through complex transactional and regulatory environments.

David Croft

David currently heads up Tangam’s operations in Asia Pacific region. Tangam is the leading provider of gaming optimisation and analytics software to Casinos.
Previous to this role David spent 17 years with the two leading casino operators in Australia. Firstly with Crown Resorts and then with The Star Entertainment Group.
David has experience leading gaming strategy, Gaming Product and Gaming and Customer Analytics teams across Table Games, Slots and ETG’s.
Over that time David has been an industry leader in driving revenue growth through the use of data and technological innovation to improve processes, productivity and gaming floor optimisation.
Rui José Da Cunha

RUI JOSE DA CUNHA, 85, Lawyer and Private Notary, practicing in Macau from 1981, as well being for 29 years Legal Consultant for STDM and Dr. Stanley Ho. Graduated in Law in Lisbon University, for 16 years Public Prosecutor, Attorney General and High Court Judge in Portugal and ex-Colonies. Founder of “C&C-Lawyers” firm and one of founders of Macau Bar Association. Member of UIA, APAA and INTA. One of founding partners of SJM Resorts,S.A and SJM Holdings, member of Social Bodies, Chairman and Trustee of several Companies and Associations in Macau, HK and Portugal. Currently SJM RESORTS Secretary-General.
Rui Pedro Cunha

Rui Pedro Cunha is a Director and General Manager of C&C Lawyers, and Vice-President of the Rui Cunha Foundation. He is also currently the President of the Macau European Chamber of Commerce.
He holds a bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and two post-graduate degrees in Management from Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão and Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Geoffrey Davis

Mr Geoffrey Stuart Davis is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, a position he has held since April 2011. He previously served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer (August 2010 to March 2011) and Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance (2007 to 2010) when he joined the company.
Mr Davis has also held significant roles at Melco International, becoming its Chief Financial Officer in December 2017 and a Director in June 2025, as well as serving as Chief Financial Officer and Director of SCI since June 2019 and October 2018, respectively. He is a Director of several subsidiaries.
Before joining Melco, Mr Davis was a research analyst with Citigroup Investment Research, covering the US gaming industry (2001 to 2007). He also held roles at Hilton Hotels Corporation and Park Place Entertainment (1996 to 2000).
Mr Davis is a CFA charter holder since 2000 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
Robert Dykstra

Robert Dijkstra has over 25 years of international executive management experience in the gaming, hospitality, and technology industries. He has held senior roles in Europe and APAC, with a focus on market development, sales growth, and building strategic partnerships.
He is currently Business Development Manager for Asia-Pacific at AMATIC Industries, where he leads the company’s entry and expansion in the region. Prior to this, Robert was Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Ainsworth Game Technology and Novomatic, where he managed casino partnerships, regional sales strategies, and supported major acquisitions.
Jeffrey Évora

Jeff Évora is the President and COO of Winford Resort & Casino Manila, a position he has held since 2017. He has worked in hospitality since 1990 and entered the gaming industry in 1993.
Previously, Évora served as VP of Marketing at Resorts World Manila. Earlier in his career, he held roles with Caesars Entertainment, Ameristar Casinos, Boyd Gaming Corporation, Flamingo Hilton Las Vegas, and Hyatt Regency.
Évora holds a degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Hawaii and a Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
Scott Fisher

Co-founding partner of Convergence Strategy Group, Dr. Fisher’s broad economic expertise and application of analytical tools has benefited clients in the gaming and leisure sectors for more than 25 years. He evaluates market demand and risk for development, redevelopment, and acquisitions in established and emerging markets, including integrated gaming resort projects throughout the world. He prepares operational audits of existing properties to root out departmental inefficiencies, and prepares complex, detailed operating pro formas to determine ultimate viability of IRs. Dr. Fisher’s reports have helped secure financing for some of the largest integrated gaming resorts in the world.
Maulin Gandhi

Maulin has spearheaded Tangam's rise as a global leader in table games and slot analytics, leveraging data science and algorithms to drive performance improvements. Tangam's next-generation business intelligence software is trusted by over 130 properties around the world, including the most iconic and recognizable brands in the casino industry. Maulin holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence.
Kelly Gass

Tommy Gibbons

Tommy has been Chief Operating Officer at Marina Casino in Sri Lanka for the past three and a half years. With nearly five decades in the Casino business, Tommy has held executive positions in both Casino Operations and International Marketing in Europe, Asia and Africa, where he strives to improve the experience of customers and workforce alike. From opening new properties to improving existing ones, Tommy still enjoys the many challenges the Integrated Casino Resort throws up.
David Green

David Green was appointed to the Board of the Gaming Supervisory Authority, the then principal gaming regulator in South Australia, in 1995. In 1999, he was elevated to the position of Presiding Member of the Authority, and he occupied that role until August 2002, by which time the GSA had become the Independent Gambling Authority.
Concurrently, David was a risk and consulting partner with Arthur Andersen in Adelaide. In 2000, he was engaged by Arthur Andersen in Hong Kong as a subject matter expert to advise the Macau government on its casino liberalisation initiative. He joined the Andersen partnership in Hong Kong, and relocated to Macau in October 2001. In 2004, he provided his subject matter expertise to PwC Singapore which advised the Singapore Tourism Board and other government agencies on the legalisation and tender of the country’s two casinos.
David established Newpage Consulting in 2010, in Macau. Newpage held annual advisory contracts with DICJ, the Macau gaming regulator, and worked on significant gaming projects in a number of countries, including Cambodia, the Philippines and Japan. Since returning to Australia in 2016, he has served as a director of two ASX-listed gaming companies with interests in Asia.
Fredric E. Gushin

Fredric E. Gushin founded Spectrum Gaming Group in 1993 after working 13 years for the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) where he was promoted to Assistant Director and an Assistant Attorney General. While serving the state of New Jersey, he was instrumental in the successful openings of 12 major gaming properties. At Spectrum, Gushin’s track record in providing gaming advisory services to public regulatory agencies and private sector clients internationally is unmatched. He has managed Spectrum’s regulatory and gaming advisory engagements throughout Asia, including in Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, South Korea and the Philippines. Gushin has also managed Spectrum’s 22-year gaming-related regulatory association with the Government of Singapore.
Antonio Benigno V. Gutierrez

An accomplished Branch Manager of Casino Filipino with four (4) gaming venues, with an extensive experience spanning more than thirty (30) years in the gaming industry covering various fields that include but not limited to gaming operations, business analytics, gaming systems and manpower audit management, and customer service. Also, played a pivotal role in the implementation of ISO 9001 PAGCOR wide.
A graduate of the De La Salle University - Manila in 1991.
Maria Victoria M. Gutierrez

Maria Victoria M. Gutierrez is the Assistant Vice President of the Slot Machine Department at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). She has extensive professional experience in gaming operations and regulatory oversight. Her expertise encompasses both slot machine and table game operations, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the operational and compliance aspects of the gaming industry.
Recognized for her sound judgment, leadership, and commitment to high regulatory standards, Maria Victoria offers valuable insights into performance, integrity, and best practices in gaming operations. Her background allows her to deliver thoughtful, balanced, and informed evaluations as a judge for the 2026 IAG Academy IR Awards.
Rod Hackman

Rod is Vice President of Gaming Operations at Hann Casino, the largest integrated resort outside metro Manila. He joined the company in December 2025, after spending two years at Landing Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World in Jeju, Korea.
Rod has extensive management experience in Asian gaming, including five years in Macau with Galaxy and Melco and eight years as Director at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Starting in the industry in Australia in 1986, he also gained experience in South Africa and Europe before his move into the Asian IR world in 2005.
Trevor Hammond

Trevor Hammond is the SVP for Gaming & IR Operations of NUSTAR Resort & Casino he has 35 years of International Casino and Integrated Resort experience. Opened all five Macao Integrated Resorts belonging to Las Vegas Sands, the world’s largest gaming company.
